Ducati 2025 Panigale V2 S

The 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 S has been officially unveiled, bringing several updates to performance, handling, and technology. Ducati has refined the model to offer improved road and track capability while keeping the signature aesthetics and engineering that define the Panigale series.

We're lucky enough to have one in the Ducati North London showroom, and in this review, we’ll go through its key features and improvements.

Weight Reduction and Engine Performance

The 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 S features a new 890cc V2 engine that delivers 120 horsepower and 93Nm of torque. Not only that but it weighs just 54 kg, making it the lightest twin-cylinder ever produced in Borgo Panigale! The new model has been designed for balanced handling on both the track and the road, providing an enjoyable combination of power and control.

With a weight of 176kg, this is the lightest Panigale V2 model to date. Ducati has reduced weight by a good 17kg compared to the previous model, inheriting the characteristic sports attitude and track performance of that bike and adding a level of ease, comfort and riding pleasure.

Suspension, Braking, and WHEELS

For the V2 S, Ducati elevates performance with premium Öhlins suspension, setting a new benchmark in its class. Equipped with a 43mm Öhlins NIX-30 fork at the front and an Öhlins rear shock absorber, it delivers enhanced ride quality and responsiveness. A standout design touch? That bright yellow suspension spring pops against Ducati’s signature red, giving the V2 S an extra dose of attitude.

Braking performance has also been upgraded, with the introduction of Brembo M50 monobloc calipers, replacing the previous M4.32s. This is another adjustment which reduces the overall weight, shaving off another 280g while providing better braking efficiency.

The new V2 S comes fitted with lightweight die-cast “Y” spoked aluminium wheels, paired with high-performance Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres for superior grip and precise handling. For those looking to push the limits on the track, slick tyres are also available in the same size used in the Supersport World Championship, delivering maximum performance where it matters most.

Technology and Riding Modes

The new 5-inch TFT display on the V2 S offers enhanced clarity and brightness, ensuring all vital riding data is easy to read at a glance. Ducati has also fine-tuned the riding modes, giving riders the flexibility to choose between four base setups: Race, Sport, Road, and Wet, each designed to optimise performance for different conditions.

Every mode comes with pre-set performance levels and control interventions, all fully customisable. Riders can fine-tune their experience further by selecting from three different engine response settings—High, Medium, and Low Power Mode, with Low Mode capping power at 95 hp. Additional adjustments can be made to ABS, Wheelie Control, Engine Control, and Engine Brake intervention, offering complete control over the ride.

For those pushing limits on the track, the Track Info Mode allows real-time adjustments to control levels while riding, ensuring peak performance with every twist of the throttle.

PERFORMANCE UPGRADES

The 2025 Panigale V2 S is available with three different Ducati Performance configurations:

The Time Attack Configuration is built for the track, using the same setup as Ducati’s official riders. With the Termignoni full racing exhaust pushing power to 126 hp and weight dropping to 170kg, it delivers pure race performance. The Öhlins steering damper improves stability, while adjustable footpegs and low handlebars create an aggressive riding position. Removing mirrors and the licence plate holder completes the track-ready transformation.

For a sleek, lightweight aesthetic, the Carbon Configuration enhances the Panigale V2 S with extensive carbon fibre upgrades. Termignoni homologated silencers, carbon front and rear mudguards, and red brake callipers create a striking contrast against the black carbon finish.

The Dynamic Configuration blends sportiness with versatility, featuring Termignoni silencers, adjustable footpegs, and red brake callipers. A higher tinted screen adds a performance edge, while the included passenger kit lets you share the thrill of the ride.

Whether you're after track domination, a bold carbon-inspired look, or a sporty everyday setup, Ducati has the perfect upgrade for your Panigale V2 S.
