A NEW GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT MAKE-UP AT LIND.

Over the last 15 years LIND has grown from our prized single-site Porsche Centre at Tonbridge to become an 11-dealership group spread across the South-East of England. As well as a scaled automotive group, it has a fabulous team with an excellent business culture. We are very proud of all our achievements and to be chosen to represent the BMW Motorrad, Harley-Davidson, Porsche and Triumph brands in some very prized locations. At the heart of this growth has been two individuals working closely together. Both Russell Dacre, MBE and Vince McGrory have worked in tandem together supported by several other key individuals. Russ has focused on the vision, direction, and culture whilst Vince has focused on the operations, or how to get the job done! We call it the what & why and the how. 

As we move into 2024 the time has come to tweak our management structure and therefore how the business is governed and managed. The purpose of this is to enable the business to continue to grow and develop as we move towards our 2030 goal to be bigger and much better. So, with immediate effect Russ becomes the Executive Chairman responsible on what & why (vision, direction, culture etc), and Vince becomes the Managing Director responsible for all business operations and its performance. Russ will chair the Board of Directors, and Vince will lead and manage the executive management team (or The Next Level as we call it!). 


Russ said:

     “It’s a huge milestone for LIND, it’s a great pleasure to see Vince move into a role which he thoroughly deserves. As many of you know he’s a great leader, effective manager, and a very loyal individual. It’s been a privilege to work alongside him for the last 16 years and I’m delighted to see him now take the top job. However, more than that I’m pleased it sets the business up to win and we strive towards our growth and quality goals.’   

Vince said:

     “I am clearly delighted with this new position and It’s a very exciting time for both LIND and I, it’s an absolute privilege to be promoted to Managing Director of LIND. I am really looking forward to working with all our Brand Partners, Board and leading our teams within our 11 Locations. I would like to thank Russ and the Board for giving me this wonderful opportunity. We’re all looking forward to the future with lots of exciting new releases from our Partner Brands this year, combined with the strong start to 2024 we have achieved, which is delivered by the hard work, experience, and dedication of our teams across all our locations, I am really looking forward to this new challenge.”
