Across 2023 we held plenty of events across our dealerships, with all invited!

At Newmarket, we held our 27th Birthday Party with live music from The Castels, some awesome food and celebrated the 1-year anniversary of opening our Captain Fawcett Pop-Up barbershop in-store. We also held our 3rd annual Hullabaloo, raising over £1,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital, to sponsor our very own Phil and Lee, having a full hair removal treatment.

At Guildford Harley-Davidson, we held a Birthday Bash in March with a delicious hog roast and the announcement of Guildford Custom's hot new rebrand. We also held a 2nd annual Chilli Fiesta, holding a Chilli Con Carne contest with live music and a charity bake sale from the Hogsback Chapter.

At Welwyn Garden City this year, we introduced an exciting ride-out calendar for anyone to tag along and enjoy our planned routes. From the Krazy Horse Cafe to the famous Royston Bike Show and even the seaside, thank you to all who joined our adventures this year.

Not only that but at Welwyn, we welcomed two guest speakers into the dealership to tell their stories and raise money for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. In September we hosted author & motorcycle journalist Simon Weir to talk about his life as a motorcycle tester and his adventures across Europe and beyond. Following Simon's visit, we then invited Bruce Smart, who may be better known for his YouTube ventures as TeapotOne. Bruce joined us for the evening to speak on his past as an ex-Met Police officer who circumnavigated the globe on a Suzuki GSXR1000, vlogging and writing about his adventures along the way. We're delighted with the response to these visits and want to say thank you to Simon and Bruce for taking the time to join us and we're excited for what's to come in the new year.

Of course, we had plenty more events, with open days across our other stores throughout the year, along with our trademark Bike Nights which returned in 2023 at Norwich, Newmarket, Reading & Watford, and we can't wait to see you all again in 2024.

LIND TRACK EXPERIENCE

Our biggest event this year was a first for us as we were joined on the world-renowned Brands Hatch Indy Circuit.

We had an absolute blast of a day with 75 people taking to the iconic track on their motorcycles. We were joined on the day by special guests such as former professional motorcycle racer Steve Parrish, Matt Read from the Triumph Adventure Centre, and our very own custom bike designer Charlie Stockwell.

Thank you once again to all who attended the event and the amazing team at Brands Hatch who supported us and the riders on the day and made everyone feel comfortable out on the track.
 

HARLEY-DAVIDSON 120TH ANNIVERSARY

To mark their 120th Anniversary, Harley-Davidson announced a wide range of limited-edition models in 2023, with each bike featuring Red Heirloom paint and anniversary detailing. The crown jewel of these releases was the extremely limited, serialised custom bagger, the CVO Road Glide Limited.

The celebrations didn't end there though, as Harley hosted their 120th Anniversary Homecoming Festival in Budapest, Hungary. Their celebration featured music and moto-culture all around, with over 100,000 people attending across the 4 days and nights.

The most exciting part of the Homecoming Festival for us was entering our very own Custom Pam America; ELMO, into the Trailblazers competition. The Guildford Custom team created a gorgeous 1/1 Pan America 1250 with an ultimate supermoto-rally bike hybrid build. Their entry featured perfectly executed paintwork from Image Design Custom, with styling cues taken from competition rally bikes to underline the hybrid design.
 

KEEPING THE ADVENTURE ALIVE

This Spring we made a big step in our sustainability journey to try and help secure a better future for our riders. We began a new partnership with Just One Tree, offering to offset the carbon emissions of all test rides and online orders around the Mother's Day period this year, through planting trees worldwide.

Just One Tree are a non-profit, removing CO2 from the atmosphere through global reforestation. Trees are the primary method they have for removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and also help filter our water, stabilize soil, form complex ecosystems, supply us with medicine, and create sustainable incomes. Just One Tree plant all over the world, from Indonesia to Brazil and Kenya, along with our oceans
