HARLEY-DAVIDSON ROAD GLIDE & STREET GLIDE 2024 - FIRST IMPRESSION

This February some of our LIND Harley-Davidson team were lucky enough to fly out to Marseille, France to experience the brand new 2024 Road Glide and Street Glide with Harley-Davidson UK.

Cam from Newmarket Harley-Davidson made the trip abroad to get his first impressions. Here's what Cam had to say about his time in Marseille:

     "Having the opportunity to be invited to the south of France, riding through the hills and small villages on these brand new 2024 Tourers was epic! Pushing the bikes to the limits on the sweeping coastlines and cracking the throttle in the straights was a blast and sharing that experience with other Harley enthusiasts made the whole thing even more enjoyable."
 
The new Road Glide ticked multiple boxes for me as a lover of the shark-nose fairing. It brings greater travel in the suspension which allowed me to feel more comfortable bouncing around the not-so-well-maintained roads we face every day. Having better suspension on both models made me want to stay in the saddle for even longer, without getting uncomfortable and having to take lots of breaks.

The new handlebars are also a HUGE game-changer! With over 25 degrees of adjustability, they give a simple and very effective way to reach a wider audience of riders by making it much easier to tailor your riding position, making the handling flexible, and giving you greater control in the bends and curves whilst feeling like you are riding a Softail chassis.

The new Street Glide was very impressive. The new weight reduction and lighter fairing, gave me more control in the handlebars to carry myself and dip in and out of bends far easier than the previous year's models. Even getting the bike off its side has a noticeable difference! The wider throttle body and a few other engine upgrades mean more power than the 2023 Street Glide and Road Glide ST's as well as having 3 phenomenal riding modes that really do make a difference to the specific type of riding you want to achieve.
 
Lastly, on both bikes, you have the new Skyline OS system which in motion, is a thing of beauty. It's well-executed and easy to navigate. Harley-Davidson has done a great job at making two already fantastic models, even greater.
