BMW Rider Training delivers the highest standard of rider training for all standards of rider. Highly-experienced, professional instructors, operate courses for novices to the most experienced riders covering every level from Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) and Direct Access (DAS) for those learning to ride, to advanced post-test training for experienced motorcyclists.

AVAILABLE COURSES.

Our CBT Plus course takes you from complete novice to riding a 125cc commuter bike or scooter over two days of tuition. A CBT certificate lasts for two years, in which time you ride with L-plates, but you can return to BMW Rider Training as soon as you like to get your full licence.
For a one-off fee, customers can book their seven-day Direct Access Unlimited training with the reassurance of a guaranteed pass. This course allows each rider as much premium training and as many attempts at both the Module One & Two tests as required to pass, without any additional costs.

BMW Road Skills courses help you build on the skills you"ve used since you started riding, equipping you with a range of increasingly sophisticated techniques that cover everything from machine control to road positioning, observation and overtaking.
All individual premium training courses are one-to-one sessions that focus specifically on each rider’s areas for improvement. Having undertaken an initial assessment of your riding, your instructor will tailor training to meet your specific needs and personal objectives. This could be to reach the highest ‘RoSPA’ standard, or simply to address a riding issue you’d like to address.

BMW Rider Training South.

As the principal BMW Rider Training school, the Royston (Hertfordshire) centre offers a full calendar of every BMW Rider Training courses all year round. Lead by BMW Motorrad UK’s Chief Riding Instructor, Ian Biederman, the school boasts some of the UK’s most highly-qualified instructions including RoSPA Advanced Motorcycle Instructions and serving police riders.

The newest BMW Rider Training school presents riders in the region with the opportunity of premium quality instruction aboard the latest BMW Motorrad models. Based in Exeter, and lead by Chris Lake, the South West centre boasts its own training pad and even a private network of roads to enable riders to refine their skills away from traffic as part of their tuition.

The new site in Darlington is headed-up by lead-instructor Iain Corser and is situated next to the Durham Tees Valley Airport, just off the A66 / A67 junction.

Overseen by lead-instructor Marcin Kopacz, the site in Bonnyrigg is just five minutes from the local Eskbank train station and BMW centre in Dalkeith. Motorrad Training Edinburgh offer riders a broad selection of BMW bikes upon which to learn and enhance their skills.
